Id my pup an American or German Rottweiler, and is she purebred?

I have a 7 month old female Rottie, she is adorable and growing up very well.

I do notice however, that her face is slightly long and not built like a block head. she is growing huge!

how will I know if she is a purebred?

Hi Ashraf
The only way to be sure whether or not your Rottweiler (or any dog for that matter) is purebred is through registration and pedigree.

If you don't have registration papers for this pup, and don't know her lineage or saw proof that her parents were both registered purebred Rottweilers, then it is very difficult, you can read more about this on my Rottweiler FAQ page.

All pups are different though, and just because your pup's muzzle is longer than average for a Rottweiler, that doesn't mean that she's not purebred, just that she has the genes for a longer muzzle!

You can learn more about what makes Rottweilers with german pedigrees such great representatives of the breed here.... The German Rottweiler. A Rottie born in another part of the world but from German (or other European) bloodlines can also be an excellent in both temperament and conformation, just not 'German by country of birth'.

Hope this helps, best of luck with your pup.
