Sampson is a 1 year old Rotty that I rescued from “Pit Sisters” in Jacksonville, Fl.
All of your post about your fur babies have put me at ease about Sampson. I was told: you can’t handle that dog, you’ve got to be super careful, all the things that said don’t adopt Sampson, but you’ve encourage me to be confident in knowing that Sampson and I will spend many wonderful years together with proper training of course.
Thanks again for sharing your babies!

Hi Roslyn. Congratulations on adopting Sampsom, he’s a lovely boy and I am certain that you will enjoy a special relationship with him. Rottweilers are truly amazing dogs.

Many dogs adopted as adults take a while to adjust to their new lives and it can be a little ‘bumpy’ at first. But with consistent loving care and a predictable routine they soon come to realize that they are safe and loved, then they blossom. Rotties are super-smart and extremely loving and sensitive, Sampson will figure it out quickly. I’m so glad that you felt able to open your heart to him and am sure that you’ll be very glad you did. Best of luck to you both. ~ Sue
