Dobby

Hi this is Dobby and today he is 5 months old, my partner thinks he is small and skinny.

Hi Sonia. Dobby is lovely, his coloring is nice and deep too. Please don’t worry about what anyone says about your pup’s size/weight. Rottweilers take a LONG time to mature and reach their weight/height/musculature.

They are also not meant to be a giant breed, just strong and sturdy working dogs. To prevent bone/joint problems it is much safer and healthier for a pup to be lean as he grows. As long as Dobby is eating a well-balanced nutritious diet he will grow to be the height/weight his genetic make-up allows for.

He looks just fine to me, with a lovely Rottweiler expression on his face. Just love him, socialize him and train him and he will be perfect. Best of luck with him.

Help, my 7 month old Rottweiler Gracie is so wild. But the horrible thing she will not stop doing is eat her stool and my other two dogs. If you bring her in the house so she will leave it alone, when she goes out again she runs right there to finish eating it. Please help

Dobby is a beautiful Rott NEW
by: Sandy

Hi I saw your Rott just cause he is skinny now cause he is a pup. My longhaired Rott was like that at 5months old you should see her now at 2yrs old she looks like the Rott at the beginning of this site the one that is from australia. Dobby his going to be a big one just tell by his feet I have a short hair male and he is tall and he weight around 120lbs. and he looked like that when he was a pup. So ho ever is saying he h=is skinny tell them to mind there own business cause they do not know what they are talking about. Cause I have three Rott and they are all big. Bye now.
