cherokee born 3-24-11

She is just a joy to have. In three weeks she is house broken except for an occasional night time pee. She cried the first night for one hour when she was gated in the kitchen and never cried again. She is the smartest dog I have ever had.

At first she would run and dive into her food and I knew this was not a good idea for when she got bigger, so I held her dish up in the air and told her to stay; every time she moved I took it away, after 30 seconds she laid down, I put her food down and told her to stay. Ever since she when she sees me get her dish she lays down and waits foe me to say ok good girl.

I am very excited to see what a wonderful dog she is going to grow up to be.
