How can i make sure weather my rottie is pure breed or not ?

Hi Abhishek
The only way to know for sure if your Rottweiler is purebred or not is by whether or not the parents have registration papers from a valid, reputable registration organization.

In the USA it would be the American Kennel Club (AKC), in India I believe the registration organization would be the Kennel Club of India (KCI) and you can find their website here www.thekci.org.

If your pups' parents weren't registered, then you've no way of knowing for certain. If they were, then you should be able to trace his lineage and his litter should also be eligible to be registered - but that is up to the breeder to do. I'd recommend your first action should be talking to your pups' breeder.

Hope this helps. Have a great day.

Irrespective.

Hi Abhishek,

Irrespective of whether your dog is purebred or not, pedigreed or not, love him and try and do your best by him now that you have got him home!

A dog doesn't judge you by your caste, religion, nationality, province, language, disability etc and this is the least you can do.

Regards,

Himanshu.
