rottweiler puppy love of rottweilers

Tugboat pulling his best friend in the wagon, Annie.

by Captain Nancy
(Oak Island, N.C.)

Tugboat lives with 5 smaller dogs; 3 dachshunds, 1 blind and deaf shitz-shu and 1 three-legged chihuahua.

All the smaller dogs are rescues but Tugboat who was purchased from a show breeder. He is gorgeous and loves his tiny pack. Tug is so gentle and kind and I totally trust him with all people other dogs.

Tugboat has been showing this year and among his other First Place winnings, he won First Place in Novice at Nationals in PA., May 2011. He doesn't like showing so I switched him to the wagon pulling, which he loves.

He is a remarkable dog. Born May 7, 2010.

I bought the harness from dogworks.com.
They sell harnesses, shafts and carts. Bought the wagon from Amazon.com.

Thanks.

Love to see this! He is so happy and proud to pull his buddies along. Where do you get that wagon setup from? I let Kush pull my boy in his wagon before but not having the right harness and setup we dont do it as much as I would like to.

Your Tugboat there is a very beautiful BIG Rottie, its good to see them at work in your pics! Great job!

Christmas Parade NEW
by: Anonymous

Tugboat and Annie were trying to get into the Christmas Parade here but Tugboat can't walk that far. Its about 4 miles long. Maybe we can work up to that but not this year. He is recovering from OCD. So his stamina is not there yet and I think his front ankles still bother him a bit.

Hey Nance he is beautiful! Looks like you have yourself another healer in the pack, given the care he takes of the little ones. Thanks for sharing and for all the care and love you give to all the animals!

Tugboat what a name & what a gorgeous dog (WOW) he is big for a 1.5yrs & must be a very special pack leader to play with such small dogs. But the wagon is a hit I just love it he is so cute he should go on ytube.

Such a cute picture! When we visit my Yorkie Zack wants to play with Tugboat, but can't figure out how because of the size difference.

That is just so sweet! Once my Rottie puppy gets big enough I want to train her to do that
