Aug 23, Training A Rottweiler Puppy

I often get asked questions about training a Rottweiler pup..... that is obedience training such as teaching basic commands, leash training a puppy and so on.

Training a Rottweiler puppy is no different to training a pup of any breed, and patience, consistency, positive reward-based methods and lots of love are really all you need!

Rotties are very loving and sensitive, and don't respond well to harsh or punitive measures - in fact that will make training very difficult and stressful. Please don't think that because your adorable puppy is going to grow up to be a big dog, that he needs 'tough love'. That is NOT the case.

If you're looking for tips and advice on training your Rottweiler puppy, check out the link below... it should answer all your questions. Enjoy :o)
