Rottweiler ears - can they get infected?

by BENJAMIN
(LOUISVILLE,OHIO)

Can a dog have a ear infection?

Hi
Yes, dogs can most definitely get ear infections. It can be caused by dirt and debris in the ear, an illness or other health condition or by Canine Allergies.

Either way, you need a veterinarian to examine your dog's ears and make an accurate diagnosis. Often antibiotics are needed, and left untreated any infection can cause serious problems so please have him seen asap.

Best of luck, hope he's doing better soon.

by: Girish

even rottys can get Hematomas on ear flaps

a side effect after vein injury due to itching and scratching due to mites, ticks

prevention is better than cure.

more healthy, clean you maintain a dog, more healthy he will be.
