Okay everybody we did it Barrons update for Oct

(Maryland)

Ok everyone we did it, Barron has gotten his clean bill of health from the surgeon. His hip replacement was a success.

He is now back to being a normal happy rotty. He can now run, jump and do everything he wants to pain free. He has no restriction at all. The surgeon feels he may never need to have the other hip done. He is now 16 months old. Re-learning to be a fun loving pain free pup. He now runs the fence with his doggy friends plays ball with me every night. It is so nice to be able to open the back and let him out to run in his fenced yard and go potty all by himself. Really glad because it’s starting to get a little chilly here at night.

I know I vented on this site a few times when I thought I would lose my mind, with all the problems we were having but let me tell you it was hard for both of us but was well worth it. The surgery was the best thing I could of done for my boy. If you could just see the happiness in his eyes he just wants to play play play.

I will send some pics for all to see

Thanks everyone for your prayers and thoughts for us. If anyone ever needs information on Barron’s recovery from hip replacement feel free to ask.

Thanks Again Bonnie and Barron

Wow Bonnie, yay… I’m doing the Happy Dance for you and Barron!! He’s one very, VERY lucky boy to have a momma who was willing and able to get him through such an ordeal (and I know it was an ordeal for both of you).

Thanks for letting us know that he’s now 100% better. What a relief for you.

Let’s hope he’ll remain a happy, healthy active boy for the rest of his life. Well done and congrats to you both…. looking forward to seeing some photos now 🙂
