rottweiler puppy love of rottweilers

My rottie wont walk with a leash !!!

Hey there!

I have just a quick question my 86 days rottie won't walk with a leash, actually it's a chain that I link to his collar does this make any difference ?!!

he always sit and sometimes pull back!! or even bite it ?!! what can I do !!

Most pups don't like being put on a leash at first, and often fight it, sit down or bite at it.

I'd recommend that you check out my Leash Training A Puppy page as it has tons of tips and advice to help you with this.

I wouldn't advise using a chain as it will be heavy, and probably noisy, which will be even more distracting for your puppy than a regular leash.

It's really just something that needs practice and patience. Best of luck.
