my baby girl..XOXO

winter baby..1 yr old..

Angel is my New Years Eve baby and just celebrated her 1st b’day.. She was an angel sent to us after the loss of our 2nd rotti Precious..

She has trained really well and has brought me much joy in the last year. After owning 2 sick rotties (cancer & addison) she is showing me what a real dog is..lol.. she loves socializing at the dog park and has made many friends..To see her play in the snow is just amazing to watch..

We do a fair bit of travelling and cannot pass through snow without her letting us know we need to stop. She is a true “cuddle bug” and enjoys rolling over onto me each night to cuddle.. Yes she sleeps with mommy in my bed.lol.. know not good but she keeps me warm..

I cannot imagine life without her as we have been together 24/7 since we got her in Feb..She brings me such joy and I look forward to many many years of her lovin..

She is now 95lbs and quite tall for a female..As all rotti owners/lovers know they are very protective and loyal and she has shown me all these wonderful traits that make me love the breed..

Thanks for letting me share..

You are so right..they are the best breed in my eyes..loves kids, other dogs, camping and just great to own all around..she is so awesome with people I am considering training her to be a compassion dog..only downfall is that she is a ‘licker’ so I’m hoping she grows out of that..I almost lost her to a choke chain at 17 months old and there is a link on this site about our story and the dangers of choke & training collars being used while not training.I hope you take the time to read about it as I never realized how quickly it could cost me her life..I am so proud to say the 3 month battle to address this cause was victorious and if we only save one dogs life every minute was wiorth it..here is the link..

My girl Kota, will turn a year on Jan 31st. She has been the greatest dog i have ever owned. I have 3 children whom she adores and totally completes our family. Took her camping with us over holidays and she had a blast. Also likes the beach and playing ball. Will never own another breed again.

Happy birthday from us, once you have own a rottie there is no other dog for you. I am onto my fifth. My rotties have never seen snow but they have all loved swimming in the lakes, which we live near also running in the forest.
