hair loss in dogs – could be Ringworm

by lee castle

the rottie losing hair perhaps it might be ringworm….

Hi Lee
Yes, you’re right – Ringworm can cause small areas of hairloss, usually with a change in skin texture or a rash on the exposed surface. It can be confused with Mange in dogs.

A vet can test for Ringworm by taking a skin sample and this can be done at the same time as testing for Mange.

Thanks for the input
