bella- first day home

Bella was only a few weeks old when i got her in november 2009. she is a full bred rottie and very playful.

Bella is 4 months old tommorrow and i'm amazed at how much she's learned so far. we completely skipped the "paper training" step purposely. so we had a lot of accidents when we took her home. we skipped it because it's better to with your puppy...they will be house trained faster if you just put them outside about every 15 minutes. bella is completely house trained now and fully comes to her name.

a couple weeks after we brought her home she started eating abnormally quickly. this gave us a bit of a scare because it was so quick she wasn't chewing her food and she would have hic-ups for about 20 minutes and then she would throw it up and then eat it again...this happened daily. so i talked to my brother (who also has a rottie) and he gave me a tip saying to put a tennis ball in her food and that would slow her down.so we did that for about a month/month and a half and now she doesn't need the tennis ball anymore and she's eating normally...thanks mark!
