On Saturday May 2nd my boy Roktu passed away.

He just out of the blue keeled over and took his last breath in my arms.

The vets think it could have been a blod clot.I lost his sister Koda in January of 2014 to cancer.

My house is so empty now with both of them gone. Koda was 3 and 1/2 and Roktu was 4 years 9 months old.

Eric, I am so SO sorry to hear about your second loss. It’s always been so clear how much you loved and cherished your beautiful dogs. I lost a male myself, out of the blue (from heart failure) years ago and I know how tragic it is.

I hope that you can take some comfort from knowing that you gave your Rotties happy lives full of love, and that they knew how much you loved them.

Perhaps when your heart has healed somewhat, you might feel it has a place for another dog – maybe one who has never had a chance to feel loved, or has had a difficult life. This is something we do in our family to honor the lives of the dog’s we have lost.

So sorry. With sympathy and best wishes ~ Sue
